When night falls, the lights of the panels hanging from buildings darken the brightness of stars and one remmembers the Jerusalem of Ezekiel and John, the Jerusalem with its own light, which does not need the sun to make dream the humblest man of the earth. This square, stretching from 42nd to 47th streets, is the true center of the world, meeting place, par excellence, of all the inhabitants of the planet.
